Dear Mimi and/or Ian,
I dont know you, but wonder if I might ask you a question. . .re the Tuileries photo you took in 2009 which shows mostly the garden setting but also Louise Bourgeois’ Spider.
I personally just oversaw the loan to the Tuileries of the Lachaise Standing Woman, and am currently involved with a dvd documentary on Lachaise, which has already screened at MOMA and other places, and is intended to accompany the Lachaise traveling show of sculptures and drawings. Would you be willing to let us add your image to the film? We could credit you, of course, but are a non-profit organization and are not spending much to make the film. It was a gift of love from the filmmaker. . .
Thanks for your reply.
